Over Thanksgiving weekend, November 29 & 30, 2025, Fitter & Faster is producing a 2-day swim camp at Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania!
This camp is being led by Elite Clinicians Coleman Stewart, world-record-holding backstroke and underwater specialist, and Nyah Funderburke, NCAA champion sprinter known for her electric speed and race-day intensity.
FAST UNDERWATERS & BACKSTROKE TECHNIQUE SWIM CAMP
DAY 1 (Saturday, November 29): The Fifth Stroke - Underwaters
DAY 2 (Sunday, November 30): Backstroke Technique

🕘 SESSION START TIMES FOR BOTH DAYS:
-> Ages 9 to 11: Check-in 7:45 AM, Camp 8-10:30 AM
-> Ages 12 & Over: Check-in 11 AM, Camp 11:15-2:15 PM

Our top priority is to provide a world-class learning experience for all participants at all of our camps. This camp has sessions for swimmers ages 9 to 11 and 12 & older. Participants will range from one-year of competitive swimming experience to AAAA times and faster. If you are the parent of a swimmer under the age of 9 and would like for your swimmer to be considered for the younger sessions of this camp, please complete this questionnaire.

Nyah Funderburke
Nyah Funderburke is a Big Ten Champion from Ohio State University. Embracing the hard work that swimming requires at a young age served Nyah well in her collegiate career where she went from an unranked high school recruit and off-the-roster team member her freshman year to Big Ten Champion during her sophomore year. She shares her experience with Fitter and Faster camp participants to encourages them and remind them that dedication and tenacity pays off.
Coleman Stewart
Learn from World Record Holder and 2x NCAA Champion Coleman Stewart, one of the most accomplished swimmers in the world. With high energy and a gift for simplifying technique, Coleman makes swimming fun and easy to understand for all levels. A former U.S. National Team member and ISL Champion, he brings elite experience and a passion for helping young athletes grow.
