Excited about setting goals!
November 26th, 2019
Chloe and Tucker corrected her feet and body placement for her start. That really stuck with her. My child was also excited about setting goals and going the extra mile to reach those goals. Chloe really got my daughter excited about distance swimming! You two are amazing!! My favorite part is how you spent time with each swimmer and how you kept it positive and fun. My kids are setting goals and have never been this excited about a swim season. Thank you!!

Tucker created such a connection
November 26th, 2019
Tucker created such a connection with my daughter. She immediately went home and wrote down what she wants to work on and her goal times on the mirror. Her excitement and commitment to the sport has increased exponentially since the clinic.

Humor, personality and swim knowledge
November 26th, 2019
My kids took away so much from this clinic and returned to swim practice with a whole new drive and enthusiasm. They both wrote down numerous things they are working to implement at practice. Tyler did a fantastic job. His knowledge is undeniable and his ability to explain things and break then down so everyone can understand and apply is great. My 9 and 12 yr olds attended and they both took away so much from Tyler and loved his humor, personality and swim knowledge. As a parent I had plans of dropping my kids off and getting a few things done, however found myself staying and watching the entire time. I love how Tyler really talked about the mental aspect of swimming and training and competition in general.

“Why not me?”
November 26th, 2019
Tyler Clary did a wonderful job interacting with all the swimmers. I really liked his talk at the beginning regarding mindset and “Why not me?” – this can be applied to anything in life, not just sports. It was good for the parents and the athletes to hear. He also worked hard to engage positivity and respect amongst the swimmers throughout the sessions. This was much appreciated as the mom of an enthusiastic swimmer. It is hard for my daughter to continue to be excited when others are being negative. Tyler Clary did not allow for negativity to be part of the event at all. Wonderful to see.

Thank you for engaging the kids!
November 26th, 2019
Tucker and Chloe were fantastic. Clear and concise and kept the swimmers moving and trying. They gave great advice and my daughter came home pumped and ready to try new skills. In particular she felt she learned some new ways to engage with her coaches. She also came home with a renewed understanding of her ownership in her success and progress!
Thank you Tucker and Chloe. Hannah came home really inspired and she needed that boost going into SC season. Tucker she found your story inspiring because she has come to the sport “later” and loved seeing how successful you are. She also saw that that success requires choices and dedication! Thank you Chloe for the “Did you miss going to the Olympics?” quote. She is working hard and frequently those around her are not as appreciative of the efforts and WHY she is trying so hard. We have done a lot of clinics over the years (I have 2 older swimmers). This one was just what I have come to expect from Fitter and Faster. Thank you for engaging kids, showing hard work pays off, AND to love the sport!

Thank you for a fantastic clinic!
November 26th, 2019
Thank you for a fantastic clinic! My daughter learned a lot, your positive attitude and humor kept all the kids engaged, and Chloe’s and Tucker’s Q and A session at the end where they shared their life experiences was wonderful and a highlight of the weekend.

They cared about the kids getting better
November 26th, 2019
It was amazing. I loved that instructors got in the water with the kids. Showed them the drills and gave individual coaching. I have never seen my daughter work so hard and listen to directions so closely. you could also tell that the Olympians were totally into it. They loved teaching and you could feel that they cared about the kids getting better. they were there because they wanted to be not because it was a job. As a parent this is an amazing feeling.

Gratitude – Jennersville, PA
November 26th, 2019
Coaches Aly and Austin were excellent. My daughter related and identified strongly with both of them. Please tell Aly that on the way home when I asked her what she got out of the camp she listed a couple technical skills then said, “and the coolest thing was being coached by a girl coach who wasn’t mean”. I asked her what that was all about and she told me that her female coaches are all angry all the time. Yet I was struck by how one experience with one high-quality person can make a lifetime impact and shift in perspective. Gratitude.

I’ve never seen him so motivated to practice and get better!
November 26th, 2019
All of it! My son was doing some of the drills at the little bit of extra time they had at practice tonight. This is the first time I’ve seen him take that initiative. There is a lot of info thrown at the swimmers in a short amount of time but the instructors do an excellent job of explaining everything so the information is easy to absorb. Even my son, who has a hard time sitting and paying attention for long periods of time was attentive the whole time. My son got a lot out out of the clinic yesterday. He finally has a solid base to build on and the confidence to do it. He loved it and I’ve never seen him so motivated to practice and get better.
Also, thank you both for being fun and silly and weird and saying that that was okay! It made learning fun and I think helped, at least in my son’s case, in getting the lessons to stick in their heads.
