“Nick Thoman was top notch!”

Nick Thoman was top notch at talking to kids (our group was the 11 & under). He was approachable, funny, and clear with his advice and direction. We will sign up for any clinic that he teaches again.
My daughter loved the T, I, Y backstroke drill that Nick Thoman taught. As a parent, I really appreciated his “stick-to-it message.”
I thought his candid responses during the Q&A session were great for his audience. Everyone seem engaged and willing to ask questions because of his genuine answers.

[Chloe Sutton] is a remarkable woman. Obviously, technique is there, otherwise, she would not have made it to the Olympics in the first place. The best part about this experience was her ability to teach. Not everyone has that. She made a difference in the lives of many young swimmers, not only as an athlete but also as a leader. The impact she had on our swim club will resonate for years to come. I hope we get to repeat this next year!“Quality people”

Cammile Adams, Eddie, and Lisa were fantastic. Quality people who you can tell love coaching and instructing. Lisa took extra time to speak to me and my son which motivated him. She was able to encourage him which was great.
Tucker is an excellent clinician!

Tucker [Dupree] is an excellent clinician, he adjust his teaching according to the skill level of the swimmers, and even there is quite a large range in different levels of swimmers, he separated the swimmers into two groups (one with more advance drill, one with simpler drill). He tried to ask swimmers to fully submerge flip turn and quickly realize only one or two swimmers can do the drill, he changed to a different drill. His voice is also loud enough to have all the swimmers hear what said. Finally, it is very nice for Tucker to encourage the parents to stay on deck, so we can see him teach our kids.

Nick [Thoman] did an amazing job at keeping the kids engaged. He had a lot of energy and connected with each athlete. Example, He gave my daughter a thumbs up for a good drill and then corrected kids when he saw that they needed correcting.

My kids had a blast and were so happy to be a part of the clinic. Both have been swimming for two years and your (Nick Thoman) positive teaching style, energy, and passion for the sport was contagious. Thank you to all who organized…we hope to see the tour twice a year in Las Cruces, NM. My kids walked away with huge smiles, had fun and were so glad to be a part of the day. Thank you!

Chloe [Sutton] was an inspiration to my son. She was personable and took time to share information about herself that kids could really relate to. She answered questions thoroughly and was just an overall sweetheart.

I was very impressed with Chloe Sutton and her teaching. She was excellent at getting to every swimmer, and was very clear in her direction and teaching. She was a natural! Plus, she maintained excellent energy throughout the three sessions she taught, and gave her best to each session.

Great job to Chloe’s mom, for sharing her experiences. Us moms love to get together and talk about our swimmers. I loved getting to meet her and hear about family life, as well as life as the mom of an Olympian.
