Both swimmers Brett and Nick were gifted teachers, they were extremely precise and clear, and they did handle the class exceptionally which is very important for the children to have ONE Clear message of what to do to succeed on the sport. I believe that the clear, humble and honest encouragement shown by both clinicians transmitted to the children were very effective and motivated all the children.

I would just like to tell you how inspiring Jessica and Tyler were.. especially Jessica, she was honest, open, caring.. my daughter wants to attend a Paralympic event now and can’t stop talking about her! She obviously loves what she does and really made an impact on my daughter!

They were both extremely detailed, concise, organized, and thorough. Though I am not a swimmer, I could clearly understand the information conveyed to the swimmers. I could see how my child (who was one of the younger swimmers) clearly understood the material presented.
I also appreciate the discipline and respect the clinicians demanded and maintained throughout the class so that every child could learn.
This was our second clinic with Austin Surhoff

This was our second clinic in which Austin Surhoff was a clinician and I would like to say he’s incredible with the kids. He is well spoken, clear and loud enough for everyone to hear and put things in terms the younger kids could understand. I was very impressed by him and the time he took with the kids Jack Conger was also good with the kids and taking time to help with techniques.

No good job by both. Austin was at our clinic last year and he really evolved into a great instructor for the younger age group. He was engaging, funny and really had their attention – which is not easy for 10&Under’s learning about technique.
We can already see a difference!

The clinicians (Tyler and Felicia) were outstanding. Both are extremely knowledgeable and made the sessions fun. My child learned several key points for each stroke. He quickly integrated several techniques into his training program. We can already see a difference!
Thank you Fitter and Faster!

While all the Fitter Faster clinics I have been to have been really outstanding learning experiences, Tyler was simply outstanding in his presentation. Felicia was very outstanding also. I learned more in 3-4 hours than I have anywhere else, except at Fitter Faster clinics. I simply can’t say how good it was. I didn’t know how to do fly before, now I can finally do it. Thank you so very much to Fitter Faster, and our Olympic and other clinicians for all the help!!

Tyler, first of all, major congratulations to you on your Olympic gold medal! It was an amazing swim. Thank you so very much for the swim clinic. I learned more in three hours that I have in all the 7 years I have been swimming. I finally know how to do the fly, thanks to you and your help. You and Felicia had a keen eye for details, and I am so grateful to you both for your great on deck observations and comments. Felicia, you still have some great swims ahead too.
Many thanks to Fitter Faster, and to all the Olympic athletes and other clinicians, for the expert training and help. You all make swimming a truly amazing sport.

Tyler and Felicia you are fantastic speakers. What a gift you have to share your sport and knowledge with others. We can’t thank you enough for the honesty, toughness and positiveness you shared. Felicia thank you for speaking about college and your knowledge about sports and how important your education is and that is something your family instilled in you. It was exactly what we have been telling our daughter for years. We love the sport and want her to go as far as she wants but education is the base. Tyler thank you for the positive thoughts and being 5% more and why not me. We keep having this conversation while on our way to the pool. We can’t get it out of our heads. I agree with you that dreams should never be squelched.

If you were responsible for creating the marketing material for the Fitter and Faster Swim Tour, how would you describe the event so that people know what to expect when they attend?
This is a unique opportunity for your child to learn from his/her heroes–Olympic swimmers!
- What the clinics are not: Coaches standing on the deck, endless yardage, no 1:1 attention.
- What the clinic is: The Olympians are in the water with the kids, demonstrating technique and providing them with hands-on (literally!) feedback.
There are loads unique drills, real-life stories, and inspiration for all levels of competitive swimmers. Whether your child wants to make it to the Olympics, or he/she wants to make friends and “just” compete in meets, this clinic will have your child excited about swimming
